Project title: Capella
Client: Argent
Location: King’s Cross. London N1
Capella, the final residential building on the King’s Cross estate offers a mix of studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments as well as townhouses and 56 social rented homes.
Johnson Naylor created the interior architecture and design for the private-sale apartments as well as residents’ amenities, which included co-working spaces, lobby, and private dining.
In response to the building’s location, fronting onto the green spaces of Lewis Cubitt Park, Johnson Naylor’s interior concept drew upon a palette of tonal references to reflect back the park-side location and bring to the fore natural finishes and a respectful use of materials. Enduring livable spaces. Aspirational design outcomes.
